Gift inscription dated 1936 and previous owner's name on front endpaper and back side of frontispiece. Foxing starting to front endpapers. One dog-eared corner. Otherwise, inside pages are clean, but toned. Dustjacket has heavy wear, with paper loss of almost 1/2 of the spine and several tears. Corners and folds worn. Some tears have been stabilized on reverse side with acid-free document tape. Soiled overall. One of the Patsy Carroll series of stories for girls.
