Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Steel-concrete composite construction has beengaining popularity over the last century thanks toits ability to well marry the advantages ofstructural components made of concrete and steel. This work studies the behaviour of composite beamswith partial shear interaction by means of the directstiffness approach. An analytical model is presented to describe thebehaviour of m-layered composite beams. For theparticular case of two layers closed form solutionsare derived to predict the composite behaviour in thelinear-elastic range and accounting for time effects.Based on this model, a direct stiffness approach isformulated considering linear-elastic materialproperties. An extension in the nonlinear range isproposed and validated against experimental dataavailable in the literature. The applicability of this approach is furtherextended to account for the time-dependent behaviourof the concrete. In this case only one discretisationis necessary, i.e. in the time domain, instead of thetwo, i.e. one discretisation in the time domain andone along the beam axis, required by modellingtechniques available in the literature.…
