A chronicle of the events of August 1980 in Poland, showing the strike in the Gdansk shipyards and the negotiations between the Inter-plant Strike Committee and the Government Committee. The film was banned in his country. In 1970, the repression of the shipyard strike ended in the deaths of 80 workers. Among the strikers was Lech Walesa, who led the unions and strikers in founding Solidarity in 1980. - Samizdat editions, mostly political pamphlets, appeared in Hungary in the 1970s in the poor form of carbon copies of typescripts. A halálhoz való viszony több dimenzió mentén értelmezhetö, ennek megfelelöen kvalitatív kutatásom során magam is egy többszempontú megközelítésmódra törekedtem. A félig strukturált interjúk a segítök halálhoz, veszteségekhez, gyászhoz, haldokláshoz alkotott nézeteire, sajátélményeire, világlátásukra irányultak, illetve a segítéshez kapcsolódó szempontjaikat, képzettségüket, motivációikat elemeztem. A vizsgálat további szakaszában a segítö tevékenység konkrét tartalmának áttekintésére, valamint a segítök által igénybe vehetö szakmai támogatási formák szerepére tértem ki. Kutatásom eredményei visszaigazolták, hogy a kortárs társadalomban a professzionális és önkéntes segítök nagyban hozzá tudnak járulni a halállal való küzdelem megkönnyítéséhez.
