There are also chapters on silk and handkerchief magic, mental magic and miscellaneous magic (more or less platform magic.) The material is sometimes offbeat (and impractical for a beginner) such as a linking ring routine which requires a ring not normally supplied with most sets.

Dust jacket is in a mylar sleeve, spine and the edges of the front cover are sunned. Name in ink at top right of front, which also has two small pieces missing. Top of spine has slight wear.
