Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Das System Archimed ist ein klinisches Informationssystem und seit 1997 am AKH Wien zur Durchführung klinischer Studien im Einsatz. Zuletzt erwuchs die Anforderung am AKH mit dem bestehenden System klinische Multicenterstudien durchzuführen. Aufgrund von Sicherheitsbestimmungen seitens des Rechenzentrums der Medizinischen Universität Wien war eine Erweiterung der Client Server Architektur der bestehenden Applikation nicht umsetzbar. Um dem vorherrschenden Trend zu folgen und Patienteninformationen, statt papierbasiert, direkt über den PC einzugeben und webbasiert zu erfassen, fiel die Entscheidung auf eine Neuentwicklung einer Webapplikation, basierend auf der Systemdatenbank. Der Zugriff der Webapplikation auf den Datenbestand ermöglicht den webbasierten Zugang zu allen klinischen Studien im System. Bei Ankauf einer Standardsoftware wäre ein Zugriff auf den Datenbestand nur durch aufwendige Schnittstellengprogrammierung möglich gewesen. Die Anforderungen an die Webapplikation lagen in der Erfassung, dem Monitoring, dem Datenmanagement und der Verwaltung von Patienteninformationen bei Multicenterstudien.
