An obviously opposition (aka, Democrat) publication exposing Hoover as a crooked person who associated with even more devious corporations during his early career in Mining. This obviously reflects on his ability to be an honest leader of the country. Actually a great book on Hoover's early career which is not overly documented in a single volume. Nearly every mining swindle that happened within his aura. Quite a bit about Australia and other remote sites where lying was easier. Reproduction of documents and plenty of quotes. 456 pages. Illustrated with reproductions of letters, financial documents, etc. Blue cloth with gilt titling on front and spine. Gilt is clean & bright. Covers show mild wear, with small scuff at front bottom center, and very mild wear at top & tail of spine. Interior is clean, crisp, tight & bright, unmarked.
