Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. A nice solid but worn copy of this early travel guide with numerous engraved illustrations and a pull-out map. The book's hinges are secure and it does not lean. There are some notations in pencil on the front pastedown and first free end page and the purple stamp of "Railroad News Co." dated April 6, 1893 probably indicating the date the book was sold to its original owner. Pages are lightly toned but very clean. The pull-out map is also very clean but has several tears. The book's dark blue cloth covers and spine are lightly soiled but guilt lettering is stil bright. Two cover corners are mildly bumped. There is rubbing to top and bottom edges of the spine and covers, corner tips. (Note: Photos may show a flash reflection.) PayPal always welcome.
