Esta gramática está concebida como compensación a los defectos de los dos sistemas más difundidos en España para la docencia del árabe: el tradicional, que lo trata como lengua muerta, y el moderno, que lo amputa gratuitamente de todo su pasado y de cuanto no es elemental en su presente.
