There is some marking in the margins and on one page two words are highlighted in yellow. I also found a very few sentences in the book underlined in red. (less than ten, I believe) On the contents page at the beginning of the work where the photographic section is said to start (page 146) is blackened out (appears to be done by the publisher) and the photographic section is at the rear of the volume. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. Dust jacket is not price-clipped. There is wear at the head and tail of the spine of the dj and along the bottom edges there is wear a two small tears. All in all, given its age, the work is in better shape than most copies. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a box.

He also edited the Evanston Daily News and the Chicago Sun. MacDougall was the author of the influential text Interpretative Reporting (1938) , which has been widely cited.
