Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is an analysis of art's evolution and social significance. The author argues that art should not be exclusive and elite, but rather accessible and democratic, enriching the lives of all people. He draws comparisons to the artistic movements of Europe and Japan, emphasizing the commercial as well as ethical value of democratizing art. He coined the phrase "artist-artisan" to illustrate his vision of art as a practical skill serving society. The author posits that art can uplift the human spirit, inspire creativity, and foster innovation. He provides a detailed exploration of the principles and methods involved in vital art education, offering a framework for understanding and appreciating the impact of art on our lives. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
