She has been a widow since 2018, when her husband Gary passed away after a seven-year battle with ALS (Also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease). Vickie is the mother of four and grandmother of seven. She is a retired Assembly of God US Missionary and Children's Pastor. Her husband was also a US Missionary and Chaplain with the Assemblies of God. Vickie stays active by spending her time enjoying her family, writing, and Volunteer work with the local ALS Chapter.
