He served as Specialist in German Affairs in US Intelligence. Vice-Admiral Sims was the Commander of all US Naval Forces in Europe during WWI. His book, The Victory at Sea, won the Pulitzer Prize. Wile discusses the British war effort and their culture with great praise. A very good copy in red cloth boards with a Union Jack. Light sunning to spine, and very slight tilt to spine, else fine.
