Neat inscription in the year of publication on front endpaper: Thomas Jordin April 5th 1815. Osborne, who have a copy of the 7th edition, 1799, credit the work to John Binns. They note the work was first published in 1787 and a 21st edition was published in 1841 (Osborne p 696). Nearly all editions seem to have been published in Leeds. Although printed in large numbers, most copies have not survived and the book is now scarce.
