Each section is divided into modules dealing with symbols, languages and scripts, names, beliefs, prayer, religious festivals, dress, diet, medical treatment, social rules, birth customs and visiting. The guide summarizes important facts at a glance, and does not assume any prior knowledge on the part of the reader. It is intended for staff at all levels, where it is intended that an organization's services shall be equally available to all ethnic groups. The facts offered in the guide are useful in designing structures and services, in considering staffing needs, and in dealing with consumers face to face. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
