This research addresses these problems in the laboratory intending to improve the student's practical skills as well as their investigation-based learning. The challenges associated with planning and developing an intelligent virtual laboratory (IVL). The challenges faced by computer science students while performing the task in the physical laboratory such as those measures are the latest scientific deviations, software problems, curriculum changes, student competency, equipment failure and software inconsistency, lack of communication between expert teachers according to particular course wise. It is needed for practical based courses, through web-based experimentation with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) paradigms to overcome those challenges faced in the physical laboratory and proposed the solution of the IVL. The primary focus was designed on pedagogical agent-based cognitive architecture (PACA) for the virtual laboratory by proposing the unified theory of mind.
