First Canadian edition hardcover in orange cloth covered boards showing light color loss at still sharp tips, spine ends bumped, light soil on board fore-edges. Bookstore sticker on fep, no names, tears or soil in the tight, crisp 140pp text, illus…trated with b/w photos. Original, un-clipped dust wrapper has one closed tear at foot of frt panel, color loss at tips and spine ends, now in new mylar and shows well. Usually autobiographies of nineteen-year-old girls don't get published. But Christilot Hanson is no ordinary teenager. Born of an Australian father and Japamese mother (the well-known Tononto dance teacher Willy Blok Hanson). Christilot spent the first four years of her life in Singapore. There she made her stage debut at the age of two as a member of her mother's dance group. When her family moved to Toronto it seemed certain that Christilot was destined for a career as a dancer. But financial independence at eight, achievd with her role as Princess Crocus on the TV show Howdy-Doody, changed the course of her short life. She decided she wanted a horse. When she had barely finished high school, she and her horse Bonheur were competing against world-renowned riders as Canada's dressage representatives at the Tokyo Olympics. Canadian Entry is Christilot's own story of how she achieved her startling success and became an equestrian celebrity overnight.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This absorbing book offers a comprehensive analysis of Canada's foreign business entry control system implemented in 1973. The author probes the economic and political forces influencing the government's decision to regulate foreign investment, providing insights into the complex relat…ionship between multinational corporations and nation-states. The book delves into the details of the legislation, evaluating its effectiveness in achieving the government's objectives. It examines how the screening process affects foreign firms' behavior, including costs and benefits, and assesses the impact on the Canadian economy. By placing the Canadian system within a broader international context, the author offers a valuable perspective on the challenges and opportunities of regulating foreign direct investment in an increasingly interconnected world economy. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Book DescriptionNavigate the high-stakes landscape of 2026 Canadian immigration with the first SME-led guide dedicated to reversing and preventing Express Entry rejections. As IRCC shifts toward precision-based selection, 'minor' errors in NOC 2021/2026 alignment, Proof of Funds (POF) stabi…lity, and Category-Based Eligibility have become the leading causes of application failure. This manual provides a deep-dive forensic analysis of the 2026 refusal trends, offering expert strategies to handle Procedural Fairness Letters (PFL), rectify Misrepresentation bans, and resolve Medical/Criminal Inadmissibility hurdles. From decoding the updated 12-month work experience mandate to mastering the Letter of Explanation (LOE) for complex employment gaps, this guide transforms the 60-day post-ITA window from a period of panic into a structured path to Permanent Residency. Whether you are facing a technical refusal or a CRS score recalculation, gain the professional-grade toolkit needed to safeguard your Canadian future against the IRCC's increasingly automated-and unforgiving-vetting systems.

Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. "Succeeding in Canadian Express Entry 2026: The Complete Strategy Guide" is a definitive, data-backed playbook for skilled professionals navigating Canada's flagship immigration pathway in one of its most competitive years ever. The guide goes far beyond basic CRS calculation - it breaks dow…n the seismic shift toward category-based selection draws, reveals real draw patterns and cutoff data (including the fact that general all-program draws haven't occurred since April 2024), and maps out the five core pillars of Express Entry success: accurate NOC occupation selection, strategic language score optimization, clean and verifiable work proof, timely profile updates, and multi-lane positioning across Express Entry, PNP, and category-based draws. With detailed data tables showing draw types, frequencies, typical CRS cutoffs, and average ITAs issued, readers gain the kind of insider intelligence that turns guesswork into a calculated strategy. What elevates this guide above typical Express Entry content is its emphasis on actionable, time-bound strategies that readers can implement immediately. The book includes a 90-day upgrade plan for boosting CRS scores, reveals the extraordinary ROI of French-language proficiency (where TEF B2-level scores can unlock draws with cutoffs over 100 points lower than general rounds), explains how to leverage dual education credentials for maximum points, and details PNP nomination strategies that add a game-changing 600 CRS points. Written by Manoj Palwe, RCIC R422575, with 25+ years of hands-on experience and over 10,000 families guided through the immigration process, this guide reflects real patterns observed across thousands of applications - not theoretical advice. Color-coded callout boxes, case studies of real applicants like Simran's PNP turnaround, pre-ITA document preparation checklists, and honest assessments of common mistakes make this an indispensable resource for anyone serious about securing Canadian permanent residence through Express Entry in 2026. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - When Newfoundland entered the Canadian Confederation in 1949, it was hoped it would promote greater unity between the Maritime provinces, as Term 29 of the Newfoundland Act explicitly linked the region's economic and political fortunes. On the surface, the union seemed like an unprecedented… opportunity to resurrect the regional spirit of the Maritime Rights movement of the 1920s, which advocated a cooperative approach to addressing regional underdevelopment. However, Newfoundland's arrival did little at first to bring about a comprehensive Atlantic Canadian regionalism. Inventing Atlantic Canada is the first book to analyse the reaction of the Maritime provinces to Newfoundland's entry into Confederation. Drawing on editorials, government documents, and political papers, Corey Slumkoski examines how each Maritime province used the addition of a new provincial cousin to fight underdevelopment. Slumkoski also details the rise of regional cooperation characterized by the Atlantic Revolution of the mid-1950s, when Maritime leaders began to realize that by acting in isolation their situations would only worsen.
