Blue boards, well used, 8.5 x 5.5 inches approx. , the front and spine being blind stamped with illustrations of aircraft propellers, faded and not easy to see, gilt lettering to spine faded, corners bowed, bumping to closing edges, no inscriptions, fully readable, contents generally very good, well illustrated, 511 numbered pages including contents, rear endpaper missing, copiously illustrated with clear diagrams in black and white, vignette to title page showing aircraft engineers at work, followed by a full page illustration of 'Mechanics at Work in an Aircraft Repair Shop. '.
