Pages are moderately marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Hinges and gutters are cracked with exposed netting and cords, however text block remains firm. Text block edges are uneven. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners and spine ends. Gilt is dulled and worn. Boards rather rubbed and marked overall.
