Rómulo Zabala was a man of History, founder of the Argentine Society of Writers (SADE) and of the Institute of Numismatics. He knew Ricardo Levenne and Lugones himself as friends and fellow travelers - with whom he shares a series of n…ice photos published in the newspaper La Nacion in 1926, on the occasion of the first Book Fair in Buenos Aires - . He was deputy director of the Museum of History "Bartolomé Mitre" and director and founder of the Museum of colonial art - today known as "Fernández Blanco". He was an intellectual, strangely a Catholic and Republican bohemian, who had his son and four children baptized on July 14, the date of the French revolution. He also got some of them married on that date. He was a prestigious modern, but also a distracted. One of his worst fights with his wife was caused by an unusual event. One August morning he sat on his bed to finish dressing, took the middle of the right foot, put it on his respective foot, took the left one, puts it on the right foot. Look to the side, not find the middle of the left foot; Look at the other, either. Stir the sheets, nothing. Look under the bed, other socks on the left foot. Open the placar and the veins begin to swell. "Isabel! Where is my other stocking?" (Isabel was his wife).
