Nous avons utilise la teledetection pour detecter et etudier ces changements au cours des trois dernieres decennies. L'analyse numerique des images satellites correspondant aux annees 1988, 1992, 2000, 2001 et 2005 a montre l'importance de l'effet saisonnier sur l'etendue et la densite de la couverture vegetale, qui depend etroitement de la pluviometrie.
