Issue 45 Wyatt Kaldenberg's pagan magazine that began as untitled open letter (typed or handwritten) to Kaldenberg's friends and fellow pagans. Kaldenberg had previously been the long-time editor of Tom Metzger's W.A.R. newspaper and was briefly a member of the Asatru Free Assembly before Stephen McNallen's Nazi purge (although Kaldenberg would later write an article against National Socialism). Pagan Revival was described as "a voice of the Eurocentric polytheistic communities" and was centered on racial paganism. Although Pagan Revival included articles and editorials, it was essentially a networking platform for racial pagans, with much of each issue devoted to reader correspondence and Kaldenberg's replies, as well as reviews of websites, zines, books, magazines, music, and videos of interest to the white pagan community. Articles for this issue on polygamy, children's education, and capitalism, and selections from Sigi Harbard's 1982 book The New Odinism. Side-stapled, photocopies sheets, 48 pp., illus. Staples rusty, else a fine copy.…

Although numbered issue 41, this was the first issue in magazine format of what began as an untitled open letter (typed or handwritten) to Kaldenberg's friends and fellow pagans. Content for this issue includes a reprint of Marcus Eli Ravage's "A Real Case Against the Jews," "The Case of Viking Hero: Egil Skalla-Grimsson, "Psychological Operations in Guerrilla Warfare," book and albums reviews, reader letters/emails (some of them quite lengthy), "A Short History of Odinism in the English Speaking World," "Zoroastrerism and the Old Aryan Religion," etc. Newsprint wrappers printed in black & green, 64 pp. A fine copy.…

Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. For years, scholars of Pennsylvania German Folk Culture have argued about the presence or absence of magic in the Hex Signs that adorn the barns in SE Pennsylvania. This book is not going to waste any space on that tired discussion. All the Hexologists included here are working in a magical way. It is just a natural process that creating geometric star signs with symbols in them would have meaning with intent. The questions raised here are not "If" but "How". Not as a scholar, but as a user, a practitioner, its clear that that Hexology is ready and willing to accept symbolism of any tradition but most especially that of our prechristian Germanic ancestors . Now along with the many names given to Hex Signs, such as Hexefuus (Witch's Feet), Hexes, and Barn Stars, is a new one, "Runic Barnstars" As I had shown in my previous book, "Heiden Hexology, Essays and Interviews", The Runes had been incorporated into Hex Work spontaneously around the world by the emerging Germanic Heathen Rune Magic practioners. In particular, they had become expressions of the Neo-Tribalism in Germanic Heathenry in North America. "I would say this, there is an energy in the magical signs of our Pennsylvania German ancestors. It is very real and powerful. Anyone can participate in making them. In doing so you are tapping into something much larger then mere personal self expression. As I explained to a former teacher and friend, A stream or river has run in its bed for hundreds of thousands of years maybe longer, so it is with folk magic. No one is quite sure how it works, just that it does and always has." Hunter M. Yoder This item is printed on demand.
