Mit sensiblem Farbempfinden bildhaft ausgeführtes Aquarell. Winterlin war Landschafts- und Architekturmaler und beeinflußt von S. Birmann (1793-1847…) sowie von M. Wocher (1760-1830). Als Zeichner war er in der Kunsthandlung von P. Birmann tätig.
