Le cas de Zeus est clair et ne souffre aucun doute: la grammaire historique et comparée du grec et des autres langues indo-européennes prouve d'une façon indiscutable que le nom Zeus a signifié à l'origine "ciel lumineux" (cf. en grec même Zeus, gén. Dios en face de poét. endios "qui vient, qui se fait au milieu du jour", en latin Jupiter et Diespiter en face de dies "jour (lumineux)", en sanskrit Dyaus pita en face de d(i)yauh "ciel, jour"). - Wikipedia: Albert Joris van Windekens (* 23. April 1915 in Mountain Ash, Wales; 28. März 1989 in Löwen) war ein belgischer Sprachwissenschaftler und Professor an der Katholischen Universität Löwen. Er befasste sich mit Dialektologie und vergleichender Sprachwissenschaft. Windekens untersuchte besonders die tocharische Sprache sowie die pelasgischen Sprachreste im Griechischen.
