Mr Lowell was an American Romantic Poet, critic, abolitionist and editor of the Atlantic Monthly. Associated with Harvard as a student and teacher and later in his life a diplomat for the United States in Europe. Clean engraving.

Condition: Good. Some light dusting and scratches to the cover. Slight amount of wear to the right edge. The book remains well bound and fine to read throughout, a decent copy.
