The story was re-made into the updated 1989 Spielberg directed film re-titled 'Always' starring Richard Dreyfuss, John Goodman and Holly Hunter. Former owner's address label to the inside front cover, pages age-toning as usual, else very good in brown linen boards with black embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine; in a very good dust jacket that shows a one-inch crimped tear to the lower edge and a half-inch tear to the upper edge of the front panel (both tears tape reinforced from the verso), light fading to the red titles of the spine panel, two short nicked tears to the shelf-edges of the rear panel, tiny nicks to the corner tips; front panel art depicting Spencer Tracy and Irene Dunne from the film, and with promotional film blurbs to the lower front corner.
