An extensive introduction has been provided by Richard L. Tieney on the author and his work. Wandrei was co-founder along with August Derleth of Arkham House, one of the most respected publishing houses specializing in horror and fantasy. This copy is one of a thousand printed of the 1st edition. Very good to fine condition, very minor smudging and scratching on the DJ, no other defects apparent.
