September 1942 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Physikochemiker. Max Bodenstein war Mitarbeiter in der Deutschen Atomgewichtskommission, Mitherausgeber der Zeitschrift für physikalische Chemie sowie korrespondierendes Mitglied der Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Göttingen, ab 1925 ordentliches Mitglied der Königlich-Preußischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und seit 1933 Mitglied der Deutschen Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina. Für seine langjährigen Verdienste erhielt Bodenstein 1936 von der Deutschen chemischen Gesellschaft die August Wilhelm von Hofmann-Denkmünze. Darüber hinaus wurde er zum Dr. sc. h.c. der Universität Princeton sowie zum Dr. Ing e.h. ernannt. Bodenstein gilt als Begründer der chemischen Kinetik. Besonders intensiv erforschte er den Reaktionsmechanismus der Chlorknallgas-Reaktion. Carl Drucker (* 24. November 1876 in Leipzig; ? 17. März 1959 in Uppsala) war ein deutscher Chemiker. Neben seinen Aufgaben in Forschung und Lehre war er auch mit der Herausgabe des von Robert Luther und Wilhelm Ostwald begründeten Hand- und Hilfsbuch zur Ausführung physiko-chemischer Messungen und der Zeitschrift Physikalische Chemie betraut. Aufgrund seiner jüdischen Abstammung wurde Drucker nach der Machtergreifung der Nationalsozialisten gemäß Paragraph 3 des Gesetzes zur Wiederherstellung des Berufsbeamtentums am 6.
