History of the highly influential racing car maker ERA , who's cars, built in the mid 1930s were instrumental in the later creation of a British racing car industry which is still there today as the home for most F1 teams remains England. ERA cars raced in europe and Britain from 1934-date, firstly in front line 'voiturette' events , one step down from Grands Prix, later in historic events - you see them at Goodwood every year, meantime they were raced and hillclimbed widely winning titles and propelling the likes of Richard Seaman to the top of the motor sport tree. Details and result of every car built, year by year narrative and masses of wonderful evocative photos and drawings. Book very good clean condition , small taped repair at the lower rear open corner of the slip case.
