All but the first title are from that series. Sophia Lee with "The Recess: A Tale of The Days Of Queen Elizabeth" 1840 was published by J. Cunningham. The other titles in bound order are; D.F. Haynes (Daniel Franco). "The Romance of the Castle". 1841. He wrote only one title (this), was married to Shelly's sister Mary and was co-respondent in a messy divorce in the 1820's. + "Andrea Vivano; or, The Italian Poisoner" (anon). + W. Gillmore Simms; "Guy Rivers The Outlaw. A Tale of Georgia". 1st edition of 1841. + John Galt; "The Fatal Whisper" 1841. + Viet Weber (pseud of L. Condition; Original half black calf with marbled paper boards a little wear but all firm, paper very good, with a separate title to 12 stories, square octavo. Very Good. NOTE* Most of these titles are reprinted from the late 18th and early 19th century, however earlier copies are not available and are almost unobtainable in any state or condition. Gillmore Simms was considered the best writer of American fiction by Edgar Allen Poe, Anne Ker was one of the first ranked women writers in the late 18th century, she died in poverty 1821. This title here by her was published first in 1817. Frederick Schiller has a short story in English and is probably a 1st edition. D. L. Haynes wrote this single title, firmly attributed to him.
