Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Walter Trier (illustrator). 1st Edition. First UK edition, translated by Zita de Schauensee. Bound in the publisher's quarter cloth, in an unclipped dust wrapper. The wrapper rather spotted, with light grazing to the edges and some creasing and wear to the spine ends and rear joint. Spotting throughout the wrapper, including to the inner flaps. The corners and spine ends of the book lightly bumped, with light loss to the tail; the boards bright. Neat little ownership stamp to the rear endpaper, a few spots to prelims, else bright. Richly illustrated in colour. A charming illustrated work, this the English translation.
