Charles Shirley Walgamott (1857-1937) was a pioneer from Iowa who moved to the Idaho Territory in 1875. In this book, he recounts his experience of life on the frontier, which, according to Ramon Adams, includes details about "vigilantes, stage robberies, and other outlaw material. DJis not price clipped and is preserved in mylar and has pretty heavy wear along spine and edges; a 1" triangular piece missing from the top and a 3/4" triangular and a 2" by 1/2" piece missing from the bottom. Front has tears along the flap fold and 3" closed tear near the bottom right corner. Back flap is cracking and has a small piece missing about three inches from the bottom.
