In fair green pictorial cloth board, with floral surround and central water/mountain/town scene and black titles to front, floral design to spine with gilt title field with black titles. The boards are nearly detached from the page block; they have faded areas; spine ends and corners bumped and frayed. The front end papers are a little marked; printed name and address on front free end paper; prize plate on front paste down. The rear paste down has become unstuck. The text block is tight, flat and with dirty marks on some pages; cut edges slightly tanned. Good condition. With six b/w illustrations (including frontispiece). Publisher's list to rear. Overall condition is fair due to state of boards. Without jacket. Sound reading copy.
