The binding of cream spine, intricately decorated and lettered in gilt, over blue decorated cloth boards is clean and bright with only the slightest of edgewear and one very small piece of blue cloth missing from the rear cover. Everything is square and solid. Inside there are no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. The lovely woodland frontispiece is undamaged and still protected by the original glassine. A very nice copy indeed.
