Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. The books is in very good condition, mild shelf rubbing to the jacket, very little to book, text is clean and clear throughout. 'Here are classics by the masters of horror, including Bram Stoker, Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, T.P. Prest, and F.G. Loring. Here, too are… more recent, authentic and documented tales of vampire encounters. "The Italian Count" is the report of a horrifying incident by one of the greatest authorities on vampirism in this century. In an authoritative and intriguing introduction Devendra P. Varma traces the history of vampirism, from the far reaches of Tibet to the ghostly terrain of Transylvania, and from ancient times to the present. The international tales he brings together in these pages reflect the range and depth of his researches.' 247 pages. 6.25 x 9.25 inches. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book.

Contact seller5-star sellerHardcover. Condition: Good. No Dustjacket. New Edition. INTERNALLY FINE, TEXT UNMARKED. Good hardcover without dustjacket. Published in New York by Russell & Russell, 1966, with xv + 264 pages, octavo (8vo). NOTE: former library book, please expect library markings and indicia. Well-made book, bound in sturdy cloth-covered board…s, bright embossed gilt lettering on spine. Aside from library markings, the book has no major flaws, but does show brief, occasional, minor signs of use and age: i.e., there is wear and fraying to the cloth binding at the top of the spine; cloth spine is lightly sun-faded; sun-fading also to cloth along the top edge of the front board; spots of very faint staining or discoloration to cloth binding which really can only be seen when looked at across the light. The book is, in fact, quite clean. Book is square and straight, still very firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, missing, torn, folded, or wrinkled. Hinges are sound and undamaged, corners are sharp and unbumped. Internally Fine condition, all pages are clean and stain-free, all text is crisp and legible, and there is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or any other such markings in the text. Buy with confidence, five-star seller, professional booksellers for 35 years, selling books online since 1995. B38.
