Cloth With Gold Stamped Design. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Fort Duquesne and Fort Pitt: Early Names of Pittsburgh Streets, The Eichbaum Press, Pittsburgh, 46 pages plus folding map of Pittsburgh in 1795, (map is copyright 1892 by Jos. Eichbaum & Co.) Includes 2-pg Chronology (from 1753 through April 1, 1894)… and 6 other illustrations. Green cloth binding with beveled boards and gold D.A.R. Seal on front cover. Front free-endpaper former owner address (Second owner). This person was a long time member of "The Company of Military Collectors and Historians from 1955-1998, top of title page is written "Purchased at the Fort, July 8, 1902 while in Pittsburgh to attend Pa. C.E. Convention." Signature of John F. Traub inside front cover/pastedown, appears to be made with the same pen used in 1902 for the previous inscription (This was the first owner). Errata slip tipped in at beginning of two-page chronology. Very clean, complete, and tight. Unknown (illustrator).
