Both volume are limited editions, 500 numbered copies. Full page illustrations throughout. The uncut page edges and endpapers are lightly foxed. One endpaper browned. Bound in the publishers quarter green leather with marbled paper covered boards. Top of the spine of volume one is lightly bumped. All the edges are lightly rubbed, else very good. Both volume are complete with dustwrappers, some very small tears and tiny chips to the edges and the spine edge of volume two is torn with no loss. Some slight marking and foxing. Generally a very good set. Extremely unusual in dustwrapper's as the set is in oblong quarto format and the dustwrapper's are flimsy. Not price clipped. Rare in this condition.
