Sino ad epoca recente i Cristiani europei hanno avuto scarsissime possibilità di attingere alle informazioni relative a Gesù contenute nelle fonti islamiche. E questa la ragione per cui il presente libro, pur risultando in parte datato rispetto ai più recenti risultati della critica biblica, mantiene intatto il suo fascino e costituisce una testimonianza preziosa che l'Occidente non può più passare sotto silenzio.
