The jacket is in black and white and shows a picture of a model tudor house. Illustrated with 13 photographs and a number of diagrams. This books describes the making of a number of toys, a stuffed elephant, a farm building, a village, trees and farm animals etc. It was used by girl guides as a part of the official test for the toy-maker's badge. Condition: Very Good. The boards are clean and un-rubbed, and the contents are clean. The whole including, the end block, is lightly foxed. Condition of dust jacket: Good. The dust jacket is quite clean but a large piece or the back is missing; also a small piece at the base. The whole has been secured with a plastic cover.
