Herbert Siebner was an extraordinarily prolific Abstract Expressionist artist who, in my opinion, is overlooked, and whose immense body of work will again come into its own. His paintings and prints, 53 published here are stunning in their boldness of design and, with the oils, their color. A friend and associate of more widely known abstract expressionists, he was a founding member of the remarkable society of artists and writers in Victoria, the Limners.
