Hardcover. Condition: Good. This volume came from the Lincoln Brower collection, though it does not have his name in it. Hardcover, bound in green cloth over boards with gold lettering down the spine. Paper label taped near the foot of the spine reads "On EN", which refers to ENDNOTE, the bibliographical program that Brower used to organize his books. Small spot of damage on the back cover measuring about two inches in length has caused a lifting in the cloth, but has been taped over to prevent further damage. Covers are otherwise neat and tidy. Corners are square. Binding is tight and secure. Mild spotting to fore edges. "On EN" written again in the top right corner of the FFEP. Pages are otherwise crisp, clean, and bright. Illustrations throughout by M. E. Church. 254 pages. Collins Publishing. Copyright page is dated 1969. No publication date on the title page. We ve got a wonderful bookcase or two of books from Lincoln Brower s collection listed here. Everything you know about Monarch Butterflies, you know because of Brower s work, both scientific and outreach. He was a great teacher, an important researcher, a torch-bearing conservationist, and a leading light in lepidoptery. We are extremely excited to offer his books.
