Half leather and brown cloth covers generally clean with only sl. sp.end rubbing, sp.a little dark, sm.gilt logo of some kind of machine with a rotating horizontal drum centre fr. cover (could be an ergograph, which would fit because there is coverage of fatigue), sm., now blank, lib.label beside top fr.joint. The primary, though not only, focus of the book is naturally on crippled World War I veterans, but also has an introductory historical chapter. Very thorough and multi-angled coverage of the issue of the employment of the disabled (inc. the blind) which provides a broader context for understanding the 'Scientific Management' and nascent Industrial Psychology movements.
