Curiously, seven present here with no space for an eighth? From online sources 8th volume would be of similar dimensions and have comprised: "K. Lear., Romeo & Juliet., Hamlet & Othello". Spines gilt embossed 1 to V11 consecutively and all present (see image 2 attached). All spines marked "Illustrated Edition". All edges gilt. Tiny source sticker "Bowron. 213 Oxford Street". Volume 1 lacks one cm to top of spine (see image). B & W engraved illustrations: "W Harvey Del"., "I Thomson Sc". A considerable rarity. Not dated but very early Victorian. W.
