Some foxing throughout. Illustrations throughout. Overall, a fair copy in good reading condition.

A charming nineteenth-century edition of these wonderful, moral tales. Bound in the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Slight tears and lifting to cloth at head anad tail of spine with additional lighter bumping to joints and extremities. Spine marginally faded. End papers bright and clean, hinges neatly reinforced with archival tape. Internally, firmly bound. Half title and title page both archivally reinforced at gutter. Pages and generally bright and clean, with the odd minor closed tear or handling mark to extremities. The odd spot throughout and very marginal age toning to page extremities. Good.
