Tenison was entrusted with some of Browne's papers by his wife (Lady Dorothy) and son (Dr Edward Browne), from which he produced Certain Miscellany Tracts, first published 1682. The manuscript for Christian Morals was also in this collection of papers but wasn't published until 1716. According to the ESTC this 1684 is a 'reissue, with cancel title page, of the 1683 edition.'
