The body of the book is detached from its cover, the cover with…its colour illustration of two girls reading is stained and worn with loss the to the cover corners, the back cover has a list of the publisher's New Illustrated Publications, one illustration ( apiece about 3" x3") has been cut out, rather Poor copy with illustrations intact except for the missing one already noted. 15 x 11 inches, hardcovers, 64pp, then [4]pp of publisher's publications. This is a catalogue of illustrations com alphabet book with the captions to the illustrations arranged from A to Z. "This is a VEIL/ Made of slik or lace/ It is fixed to the bonnet/ to cover the face". Uncommon. (3.5 JM LVR 201/0 Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
