Uncommon signed. Albright was the second Director of the National Park Service and was highly influential in that role. Previously he was the superintendent of Yellowstone National Park and more briefly of Yosemite. Ultimately he was awarded a Presidential Medal for Freedom. His biographer Donald Swain was a professor of history at UC Davis.A very good book in cream cloth with some faint foxing to text block faces and some subtle stiffness and waviness to lower page edges in sections, a slivers of dampstaining on a couple pages. Brown endpapers with a some rubbing to outer edges. Still very good. In a near fine jacket with a touch of wear to corners.
