1970 FIRST PRINTING of First Edition. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Horace M. Albright on the short-title page and also inscribed and signed by the author on the short title page. Albright's signed inscription reads, "For Gladys and Bob Leeman Delightful San Diego folks who with our dear friends, Catherine and Stephen Newell, enriched our visit this year in the Grand Teton - Jackson Hole country. Horace M. Albright. Grand Teton National Park Sept. 4th, 1976." The author's inscription, dated many years later, reads, "For Jack Reneau, With best wishes and warm regards. Donald C. Swain Aug. 18, 2001." Jack Reneau is a renowned expert on big-game hunting and wildlife management, serving as director of Big Game Records for the Boone And Crockett Club for many years, author and editor of more than 60 Boone And Crockett Club books on hunting/history. Original beige cloth with gilt lettering spine, brown EPs with decoration. The book has clean cover but some foxing spots to spine cloth, very light foxing to text block edges, no foxing on page faces, other than the inscription there are not former owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding. The original dust jacket is clean, no tears, no loss, no rubbing, 100% complete. The book measures 222mm tall x 143mm and has 347 pages, 9 b/w photos, bibliography, index.
