Cloth. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st US. Larger, sturdy book, black cloth, spine badly rubbed, lightly browned inside covers and adjacent end papers, 152 heavy lightly browned pages. Small light brown stain near page 55 bottom tip, several light stains on bottom of page 54. DJ glossy with black and pink bckground on front and spine, a ship and white explosion in water on front and spine, white back very slightly browned overall with excerpts. DJ hcreased down front, micronicks and microtears along top front edge, 1/4" wide tears at top back tip, very slight surface wear to front bookfold edge in places, tiny but wide tears with spine wear at spine edges. Book includes many maps showing ships' location during battle. Near Good DJ/Good book.

Condition: Good. 1966. No edition remarks. 152 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Clean pages with noticeable tanning throughout. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown and endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Mild tanning to spine and board edges. Mild crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Mild water droplets to spine. Heavy tanning to spine and edges. Notable rubbing and marking all over.

Presumed first ed.; 133 p., clean and unmarked on strong unaged paper; maps and ill. include photo of wax effigy of Lord Nelson declared by Lady Hamilton to be "perfect"; binding tight;coral boards with black lettering and decoration have minimal wear. Price label on front paste down. D.j. has smudging on rear panel, rubbing at corners and at crown and foot of spine panel.
