An extremely scarce printing of an early American mathematics textbook. A rare early Providence imprint. John Sterry (1766-1823) was a Providence-born Baptist clergyman who served as pastor of the First Baptist Church in Norwich, Connecticut. Marked as Volume I, but believed to be the only volume printed. A wonderful piece for restoration.…
