A few wrinkles to spine with spine caps gently folded under. Corners lightly worn and nudged. Page edges soft and untrimmed. Gilt lettering debossed to spine, lovely cameo-type impression to front of dark green, grosgrain covered boards. Beautiful black and white portraits. Clean text. 386 pp with index. "The memoirs of "Mrs. Clay, of Alabama," by which title Mrs. Clement C.
